It was exceedingly simple to format the output of a hash from the Linkedin api.. Don’t know why I just struggled for two hours on it..
<%= simple_format @user.linkedin_token.callback.summary %>
Google is my friend for sure..

This is bugging me. What tools does a business need to use to promote themselves and which ones are useless:
(Of course, all are useless if you don’t know how to use them).
What else do we need?? Do we need them all or is less more. There’s something missing, something’s not quite right yet.
Newest Rails project finally coming together – got most of the social profiles added. Just need to get the facebook page up.. Was expecting oauth login to be most problematic but turned out to be a piece of cake (thanks to some fantastic gems).
Steep learning curve with Rails though. Easy to pick-up, then massive ramp up. Think I’m getting there.
Pizza’s a good way to boost concentration…

Have been stuck on a rails3 problem now for 72 hours. Finally this morning I found the answer online and got the problem fixed. What a struggle – it would have been much easier to walk away for a few hours and come back with a clear mind. Oh well.
Now I can relax for a little while and enjoy the bank holiday..
